FRIENDSHIP:The best gift of god

Friendships are the gift to the man kind. The relation which we get in this world are blood related. But the only relationships which doesn't related to blood is friendship. Friendship has many forms and shapes. It is like water. If we pour the water into a jug it takes the shape of jug. if you pour the same water into a bowl it takes the shape o bowl. Same way friendships will take a different shapes and sizes according to our heart. Friendship gives pleasure to human beings. Where there is friendship then there will not be any sorrow. When you see a child laughing you will forget your sorrows for a second, same way when you are with a friend you forget your sorrows. The world is rotating smoothly because of the friendly hearts in the world. it crosses boundaries and share a mutual bonding of love. Friendships will take care of this entire world from problems. If we are friends then our countries will, when our countries are friends then there is not need of weapons. So take weapon named friendship and love and conquer the world with love.

"I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, who has sight so keen and strong
That it can follow the flight of song?

Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend."

TERRORISM:Will we ever get rid of it?

Terrorism and insurgency are the unending battles India has been fighting since Independence.Since independence in 1947, India has been facing this severe problem of terrorism in different parts of the country, majorly in Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir.These terrorists attacks are not only attack to the humanity but they have proved that they don't have any ideology,except spreading terror and violence.
Usually they justify their hilarious acts as an act of "Jehad" but no religion gives permission of mindless killing of innocent people, and those who are indulged in such activities have nothing to do with the religion.
So terrorism is not only about muslims and their quest for Jehad.Not all muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are muslims. Pakistan has been the main source of arms, ammunition and training for religious terrorist groups which operated in the Punjab in the past and for those which are operating presently in J&K and other parts of India.We have been facing this problem for so long but yet have not been able to put up a mark on it.Rather the conditions have become worse now. Why is so that we have not been able to put up a mark on this yet?Why is it so that each time innocent people have to face this on themselves?How long we have to tolerate all this? Well, its really a high time and now severe action is the demand of the time.Now a strong movement against such anti-social elements are required.And its not only the duty of government,but our role is equally significant.At national level,there is a need of high level anti-terrorist squad.The only way to combat it is to minimize,if not eliminate,such occurences.Democratic politics,political freedom,civil liberties and religious tolerance must be protected at all costs.The corruption and politicisation of police force must be minimized.We need a dedicated and unbiased force.If we want to eliminate this curse, we need to stand against it united and we need to do something in this regard on our own without depending on external sources.Remember "A state which is not prepared to defend its honour and which depends for the security of its honour on some international force, is nothing but a paralytic".

SATYAM:A Rs 7000 crore Lie

The irony lies in the name - Satyam, meaning truth. The real truth is that Ramalinga Raju, the politically-connected, promoter-chairman of Hyderabad-headquartered Satyam Computers, was lying for years to shareholders, employees and the world at large, building up to India's largest-ever corporate fraud of over Rs 7,000 crore.
The country's fourth largest IT company - after TCS, Infosys and Wipro and ahead of HCL - was for several years cooking its books by inflating revenues and profits, thus boosting its cash and bank balances; showing interest income where none existed; understating liability; and overstating debtors' position (money due to it).
The 54-year-old US MBA Raju's letter of guilt and resignation to the Satyam board and Sebi on Wednesday morning sledge-hammered India Inc, dumbfounded regulators, pummelled the company's stock, knocked the bottom out of the market, and cast a long shadow over industry in general and the IT sector in particular.
It also raised disconcerting questions about corporate governance, the role of auditors and independent directors.Within hours of the Satyam scandal hitting the headlines, its employees had flooded job portals across the world wide web in search of alternate employment. Consider that the Rs 7000-plus crore hole in Satyam's books is way more than the company's entire salary bill of Rs 5,040 crore last year. Worse still, it's running really low on cash, and once-potential suitors have turned wary - they don't know what lies beneath.
As for Satyam's shareholders, the stock had gone into freefall before they could even make a decent exit. By the end of the day, large-scale selling by foreign institutional investors, among others, had driven the stock down by almost 78% to just a shade below Rs 40 from Tuesday's close of a little over Rs 179, wiping out Rs 9,376 crore of investor wealth in the space of a day. Compared to its closing price of Rs 225 on December 15, the stock is down more than 82%.
